Gettin closer

Better make one more blog update before the big day. After that we may be busy for a while. Things have slowed down as Paula's belly has been growing and growing. Look at the picture below taken couple of weeks ago and you'll see my point.



Month ago our xmas present to Paula's parents came into reality when we all took off for a long weekend in Paris. Aira and Paavo were of course running around the town while we took easier and did some shopping particularly for Otso. Saturday night grand parents looked after Iines so we could go out and feel the beat of Paris ... well at least have a dinner in Japanese and few glasses of wine in local bistro. We could notice few glimpses of spring there and there but on Sunday a real storm hit France and we got our share of that during the walk in Montmartre.

Later in March Paula organised a weekend at their country house in Humppila. Times have changed as there were already 3 underaged + 1 unborn in our group. So action was guaranteed. For instance the first and propably the last snow castle of the winter was built and adventures in the "tunnel" were a big hit. Iines and Elmo went along nicely. Later in the night adults enjoyed nice dinner and few beers after sauna. The "climax" of the weekend was however the nasty stomach flu that started taking down people on Sunday morning... The drive back to Helsinki was rather unpleasent.



After some really good times mid March we faced darker moments of life as Marja passed away. You'll stay in our memories forever.
