Parent leave, phase 2
Enjoyable 5 weeks of freedom are almost gone. Next week this time I'm back at the office. It's good time to gather some highlights here.
In the beginning of Feb Paula had few days off from uni after her exam so we decided to have a quick trip to Paris (again). Won't happen again for a while as all of my frequent flyer points are pretty much used now. Nothing too special was going on, mainly we just wondered around the city. However few new spots were discovered - Le Bon Marché and Le Grand Palais. Le Bon Marché is the first department store in the world. The building itself is definately worth a look and their food section is propably the craziest I've ever seen. We were intended to check out the big Picasso exhibition in Grand Palais but it had already ended. Instead they were showing a video project 6 billion others. Very interesting treehugging stuff and it keeps developing in the internet all the time, have a look.
Heta, Iines' godmother, is currently presenting her designs with 2 painters in the gallery Myymälä2 on Uudenmaankatu 23. Their exhibition is called "Matkalla" and we were invited to the opening party. Heta's design hand bags seemed to be very popular, I can see why, and people were virtually fighting to get their share. It seems that the excellent response may result in more masterpieces from her shop.

I've also done some shopping online. I bought some camera gear from Digital Wonder World. The lens I bought is the same 50mm Canon that I used to have before I droped it on the floor. I also got my first proper flash and now I'm learning to use it. Luckily I have the best photo model to practise with.
And of course we have had some family get togethers every now and then.

Hauska oli taas lukea blogia. toivottavasti ehdit kirjoittaa, vaikka lapsenhoitovapaa loppuukin! V.
Hauskaa, että ehditte blogeerata edes hoitovapaalla, on sitä hommaa pienen kanssa!
Viimeisessä kuvassa, jota ei asiallisesti selosteta, tilanne on että Iines ja Ukki kiistelevät kameran rannelenkin käyttöoikeudesta. Oli mukava leikki, mutta Ukki vielä peri isompana lopulta voiton. Otin samassa tilaisuudessa kuvia minäkin, Iineksestä ja Mamista esim. t.M
